Are Americans as idiotic as they appear in Bruno or was it a big con?LA-based model Heather Hahn certainly looked like a goose after describing how tough a model's job can be: "You have to put your left leg in front of your right leg."However, Hahn says she was unaware she had been set up by Sacha Baron Cohen until her agency, NEXT, was bombarded with calls wanting to interview her after the film's premiere.Hahn, 22, has been living in Sydney for the past month, doing campaigns for Just Jeans and Peter Alexander as well as spreads in magazines.Hahn told S she thought Baron Cohen's alter ego was sincere and explained how she endured a five-hour interview after auditioning for the role. The film could have portrayed Hahn in a much worse light. She says Bruno asked her if the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa and Jesus could have been supermodels: "At one stage, Bruno showed me a photo of an obese child and asked me to hold the photo up and plead to camera for the child to stop eating." Thankfully, she declined.Hahn admits she thought Bruno's one-piece leather suit was odd but not unusual in the fashion world. "He was so funny," she says."I couldn't stop laughing, so much so that he pulled me aside and told me it was disrespectful to laugh about people in the Austrian culture." COSY COUPLEIt wasn't just music on show at last weekend's Splendour in the Grass Festival. Packed to the Rafters junior burger Angus McLaren was spotted cuddling up to ex-Home and Away actress Indiana Evans (pictured) on a shuttle bus to the sell-out festival in Byron Bay.McLaren, 20, was quite the gentleman, lifting Evans's luggage on to the shuttle before escorting her towards the back seat of the crowded bus. The couple held hands as they chatted to another friend on the journey. It's a cosy case of life imitating art as the pair played one another's love interests in the Channel Ten kids program H2O: Just Add Water before McLaren was scooped up by the Rafters team. Meanwhile, Evans, 19, has just wrapped up the third season of H2O.
